Carol Rush, MAI

Carol Rush has been affiliated with Mastroieni and Associates since 1998. She operates an independent practice that focuses on real estate valuation and consulting throughout the Middle Atlantic States. Carol has significant expe
rience in valuing apartment complexes, shopping centers, and office buildings. Special areas of expertise include
chemical and specialty manufacturing plants, cell phone towers and land for conservation. Most recently, her practice has focused on healthcare and seniors housing.

Before establishing her own business, she was employed by Equitable Real Estate Investment Management, Inc. for 12 years where her responsibilities included mortgage underwriting, including appraising, and portfolio valuation and analysis for acquisition/disposition/expansion decisions made on behalf of The Equitable and its pension fund and joint venture clients.

Carol is a licensed Pennsylvania (associate) broker, a Pennsylvania certified general appraiser, and holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. She has appeared as an expert witness before the Board of Viewers and has testified in tax appeals in Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties.

Carol is an active member of The National Society of the Colonial Dames in America. This women’s organization focuses on historic preservation, history education and patriotic activities. Carol served as the 2014 Chair of the Stenton Committee, overseeing the preservation of Stenton, located in Historic Germantown. Stenton is the 1730’s home of James Logan, secretary to William Penn, and is renowned for its architecture and condition, its collections and its education programs relating to the Colonial era.
